Our mom has been going to the Round Top Antique Show since long before it was cool. Mom always knows best, right? Now, we make a biannual Spring/Fall pilgrimage two hours west to shop one-of-a-kind finds in Round Top, and this year, a big dream of ours is finally coming true. We will be popping up in the fields for the full show, along with our friends at KD Weave, to bring a bit of MIRTH to Round Top.

Wondering what all the fuss is about Round Top? In short, it's a cute, central Texas town that's home to one of the largest antique shows in the country. The biggest shows take place in March and October. Vendors from all over the world come together to sell antiques, vintage, home goods, textiles, cowboy boots, and really anything else you can imagine. Days are spent perusing the tents with a Bloody Mary in hand and cowboy boots on foot - and nights are spent hanging out with fellow treasure hunters on farms and in quaint haunts around town. It's become quite the scene, and once you visit, you'll be hooked.

Round Top Travel Tips

There's more to Round Top than just antiques. Keep your eyes out for vintage jewelry, cowboy boots, and fun clothing brands (like us!).

Reserve everything early (hotels, dinner resys, etc.) before it's packed during the shows.

Most vendors take credit cards or Venmo, but some still only take cash.

Come at the beginning of the show for the best selection or at the ened of the show for the best deals.

Order a pimento cheese sammy and Fritos for lunch at Marburger is you want to truly feel Texan. It's a tradition we share with our mom.

Wear comfy shoes, a hat for the sun, a big tote bag (with a giant water bottle), and your Western best.

Lodging can be tricky, but day trips are easy from Houston, Austin, and Dallas.
